Fran's Cafe' was established in 1990 by husband and wife team, Fran and Miklos Borsos.  They are both from European decent and very interested in  creating and experimenting with new and unusual food.  This features heavily at the cafe'

Fran's Cafe' is located in the heart of Cambridge in the Waikato.  The Cafe' itself is used to be a large department store called Calverts.  Fran and Miklos have been very careful not to change to many of the historical features that remain.  

Fran's Cafe has three separate sections, a dining area, a lounge and a very sunny courtyard.  Each are designed so you can have a very different dining experience.  During the New Zealand summer, many people opt to sit outside in the courtyard, to enjoy the sun and the amazing garden that Fran so carefully cares for.   

Inside you can take your pick of the lounge and the main dining area, where it has been described as "visiting a friends house".  You can relax and make yourself at home with a meal or just coffee and cake.   In the main dining area, you can take you have a pick of tables, inside and out and you have easy access to staff and any extras you may desire.

All food is made on the premises on a daily basis.  Fran has very talented people on her staff, who work together to create these delicious creations.
